Pupil Charter

Reading, Writing and Maths are important and we will never lose sight of that, but there is so much more to school life than academic studies.  Your child is with us for 7 years and our goal, apart from helping them achieve the very best they can in core skills, is for them to look back on their time at Lowercroft with a wealth of happy memories and readiness for the next part of their school life.  It is with this in mind that we promise to give every child the opportunity to:

  • Have muddy days in Forest School
  • Visit a British seaside
  • Stay away from home for at least one night
  • Raise money for a worthy cause
  • Grow something they will eat
  • Develop and maintain friendships
  • Perform in front of a live audience
  • Represent their school
  • Take responsibility for caring for the world
  • Learn that effort reaps rewards
  • Learn a musical instrument and continue with lessons to take it further
  • Develop a sense of adventure and courage
  • See their artwork displayed in a gallery
  • Develop a sense of pride in themselves and where they live
